Biography of 2nd Lieutenant Robert Kerr Abram
Robert Kerr Abram was born in 1897, and was the son of Mr Henry and Mrs Anges Abram. The family resided at St Andrew’s Drive, Pollokshields.
Robert began his Army training as a member of the University of Glasgow's Officers' Training Corps. He then joined the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, where he was made a Second Lieutenant on the 23rd September 1915.
Robert was awarded the Victory and British War Medals.
