Biography of 2nd Lieutenant William Harrison

William Harrison was born in Lesmahagow to Elizabeth and Dr John Harrison. He studied at Glasgow Academy.

He was a good student and received a 'credible mention' for his work in Practical Botany, first class honours for his class in Practical Zoology and a first class certificate in Medical Physics.
