The Dean of Faculties

In the pre-Reformation University, the Dean was elected annually by the masters of the Faculty to preside over them and to exercise a general superintendence over studies. After the Reformation the Dean acted as an auditor of the college accounts and Visitor of the College. The office is now honorary and the Dean of Faculties is elected by the Senate for a period of three years.
