Description

A Chair of Child Psychiatry was founded in 1973 (Resolution 110) but never filled. The Chair of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry was founded in 1977 with the incumbent located at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children. With the appointment of Professor Parry-Jones, the post moved to Gartnavel Hospital.
