Social Policy and Social Work

Description

The School of Social Study and Training was founded in 1912 under the auspices of the University to meet the demand for social workers, connected chiefly with the Queen Margaret College Settlement. The School became a department of the University in 1943 and the Chair of Social Policy and Social Work was founded in 1971.
