Chemistry (Joseph Black Chair)


The Joseph Black Chair of Chemistry was founded in 1961 and is named for Joseph Black (1728-1799), Regius Professor of both Anatomy and Botany at the University in 1756 and Regius Professor of Practice of Medicine from 1757 to 1766.
