Description

The Sir Willam Weipers Commemorative Lecture was inaugurated in 1976 to commemorate the contribution of Sir William Weipers (1904-1990) to the University and to Veterinary Medicine. After his death in 1990, the name was changed to the Sir William Weipers Memorial Lecture.

Originally given annually, the lecture has been given biennially since 1994.
