Administration Building
Description
The Administration Building is located on the Western Infirmary site. It was built in 1948 by Robert Love as the Infirmary Staff Nurses Home. Before this time the Nurses lived in the now demolished Nurses Home that was located to the north of John Burnet Sr’s main hospital building.
The style of the building can be described as stripped back modernism. There is very little detailing with the exception of the contrasting neo-baroque doorway in the north elevation.
