Duncan Wu

Duncan Wu joined the University in 1995 as Reader in English Literature. He was appointed to a personal professorship in English Literature in 1999.

Wu has published widely on William Wordsworth, William Hazlitt and Romanticism. He left Glasgow in 2000 to take up a post as University Lecturer at St Catherine's College, University of Oxford, and he became Professor of English Language and Literature there in 2003. In 2008 he was appointed to a Professorship in the English Department at Georgetown University, Washington.
