Biography of Ronald Frank Taylor
Ronald Frank Taylor studied at Glasgow Veterinary College from 1931 to 1937 and was awarded the MRCVS qualification by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in London in 1937. He was born on 22 December 1903 in Glasgow, son of George Taylor. He had previously attended Queens Park Secondary School before embarking on his Veterinary degree.
Taylor first enrolled onto his Veterinary course aged 27. His first year of study consisted of Anatomy, Chemistry and Biology. In his second year of classes he also studied Physiology and particularly excelled in his Biology classes. In his third and fourth years he studied Pathology, Materia Medica and Hygiene. Towards the end of his degree, Taylor studied Parasitology, Medicine and Surgery. He graduated MRCVS in July, 1937.
