Myles Morrison graduated from the University of Glasgow with a BSc in Engineering in 1923, at the age of 21. He was born on 3rd August 1901 in Kilmacolm, Renfrewshire, the son of William Morrison, the director of a limited company.

In 1919 he first matriculated at the University to study Engineering under Professor John Dewar Cormack . His initial classes were in Mathematics, Natural Philosophy, Physical Laboratory, Chemistry and Engineering Drawing. In his second year he studied Higher Mathematics, Engineering Laboratory and Geology. His third year classes consisted of Natural Philosophy, Engineering, Engineer Drawing and Engineer Laboratory; and in his final year he took entirely Engineering modules.

Following graduation, Myles worked as an Engineer. He died on 7th March 1992.
