Biography of Matthew Adair Boyle

Matthew Adair Boyle graduated MA from the University in 1931.

He was born in Barrhead, son of Patrick, a marble machinist. Boyle enrolled at the University in 1928, aged sixteen, where he studied a variety of subjects including; Mathematics, Natural Philosophy and English. In his final year he studied Education, following a career in teaching upon graduation.
