Biography of John Philip Sandblom

J. Philip Sandblom received his Doctor of Laws from the University of Glasgow in 1965. He was a Swedish Art Collector and medical researcher, Professor of Surgery (1950) and Vice-Chancellor of Lund University (1957 to 1968). After his retirement from the University in 1968, Sandblom worked as a physician and researcher in San Diego, USA and Lausanne in Switzerland.
