Biography of Ian Hugh Mackenzie

Ian Hugh Mackenzie enrolled at the University in 1924 to study Science and Engineering. He was born in Santiago, Chile, son of John, a printer. His brother, Robert Cuthbert joined him at the University in 1927.

Mackenzie attended classes in Natural Philosophy, Chemistry, Mechanical, Heat and Electrical Engineering. He was listed in the prize list for Professor Cormack's Engineering Design class of 1927-28.
