Biography of Thomas Goodwillie Anderson

Thomas Goodwillie Anderson was born in St John's, Newfoundland in 1909. When he matriculated at the University of Glasgow in 1928 at the age of 18, he followed the example of his father, Dr Thomas Anderson of St John's, and his grandfather, Dr William Anderson of Heart's Content, NL.

T. G. Anderson studied at the University from 1928-1933, and on 2 October 1933, he signed the Graduation Album. Anderson enlisted with the Royal Army Medical Corps on 14 September 1939.
