Roderick MacLeod graduated MBChB from the University of Glasgow in 1904.

Roderick was born in Gairloch on 19th June 1876. At the age of 22, Roderick began his medical studies at the University of Glasgow in 1898.

Roderick took a range of classes during his time at the University, including Botany, Zoology, Anatomy, Surgery and Midwifery. In his last final two years of study, he gained a Commendation Certificate for Clinical Surgery and another for Operative Surgery.

In 1904, Roderick graduated MB ChB. He went on to work as a medical practitioner in Gairloch, and was later based in Hetton-le-Hole, Co. Durham.

He died on the 13th May 1950.
