Biography of Arthur Templeton West
Captain Arthur Templeton West of the Royal Artillery was born in Glasgow and attended the High School of Glasgow. He graduated MA from the University in 1933 and LLB in 1937 and became a partner in the law firm Thomas Stark & Co.
West joined the Territorial Army in 1938 and went on active service in 1939. He served throughout the Tunisian Campaign and was killed in action in Italy on 12 April 1944.
