Biography of Alexander Hunter Sinclair
Alexander Hunter Sinclair graduated MB, ChB from the University in 1911. He served as a surgeon in the Merchant Navy during the war.
Sinclair was killed on 29 October 1942 when the troopship MV Abosso, a converted liner, was torpedoed in the Atlantic Ocean by a German U-Boat.
