Biography of John Desmond Lamb Kelly

Sergeant John Desmond Lamb Kelly of the RAF was born in Edinburgh and attended St Mungo's Academy. He enrolled at the University in 1938 to study Medicine, but joined the RAF after his first year, in October 1939. He was killed when his bomber was shot down over Bremen on 4 January 1941, during his twenty-ninth operational flight.
