Biography of Helen Galbraith Burton

Helen Burton (b c1900), nee Mitchell, was the wife of Thomas Menzies Burton (c1893-1951). She bequeathed £1 million to the University to found the TM and HG Burton Fund, and in 1987 the Burton Chair of Medicine was created with money from the Fund.
