William Hunter Medals
Description
The William Hunter Medals in Medicine were instituted by the University Court to commemorate the contribution of William Hunter (1718-1783) to the study and teaching of Anatomy, Surgery and Obstetrics, and his bequest of the collections of books, coins and anatomical and pathological preparations. They are awarded for distinction in various classes of the medical curriculum.
