Description

The James Bridie Library in the Glasgow University Union is named for the playwright OH Mavor (1888-1951), a Glasgow graduate and Union stalwart who wrote under the pseudonym James Bridie.

The library has a mural by Fyffe Christie called 'West End Perk' which commemorates Bridie's poem of the same name.
