Garscube
Description
The Garscube Estate near Maryhill was purchased by the University in 1947. Work began on the construction of new buildings for the Veterinary Hospital in the 1950s; Wolfson Hall was built in 1965. The Veterinary School and the Alexander Stone Building (housing botanical and microbiological research laboratories) were erected 1969-70.
