Seamus Ross

Biography of Seamus Ross

Seamus Ross was Professor of Digital Preservation from 2004-2008 and from 1997-2008 he was the founding Director of the Humanities Advanced Technology and Information Institute.

From 2004 to 2009, he was Associate Director of the Digital Curation Centre. He was involved in many UK, European, and international projects into digital preservation. These projects included ERPANET, InterPARES, the DELOS Digital Libraries Network of Excellence, DigiCULT, CASPAR, PLANETS, DPE, and AHDS Performing Arts.

He is now Dean for the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto.
