Biography of Margaret Reid

Margaret Reid is Emeritus Professor and Honorary Senior Research Fellow. Prior to this she was Professor of Women's Health.

Professor Reid has contributed to public health, sitting on the Health Services Research Committee for 8 years, and also served on the National Preventive Research Initiative. She currently pursues her interest in women's health care by working with charities associated with childbirth and maternity care.

She appeared on the 2010 New Years Honours list receiving an OBE for services to healthcare and to higher education.
